Mrs. Wendy Stapleton is a physician assistant with Durango Orthopedics. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional interests are general orthopedics, sports medicine and occupational medicine.

Mrs. Stapleton received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Armstrong College in Savannah, Georgia with post-graduate studies in Sports Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Science – Physician Assistant from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia.

Mrs. Stapleton has participated on the medical team for the 1993 New York City Marathon, the medical staff for the 1995 Pre-Olympic Regatta in Savannah, Georgia; and she was the assistant trainer for the 1994 Georgia State Gymnastic meet.
